The Parish of Santa Maria del Rosario offers much more than simple accommodation: we offer to you a place to live and rise in the heart of the city.
Due to our central location, you will be able to comfortably reach the main universities, immersing yourself in academic and city life right away. We offer a housing solution designed for students’ needs, combining the opportunity of having a contract in Milan with the warmth of a welcoming community.

Our housing solutions for students.
We offer various housing solutions designed to ensure comfort, tranquility for study and spaces for socialization. Our accommodations, both in the residence and in the apartments, have been developed for university life and are situated in an area of Milan that is both strategic and livable.
Our facilities include cozy rooms, modern equipped kitchens and lounges available for students to study and relax.
- Residence: located at via Bergognone 8, it can accommodate up to 25 students (male only) in a new and well-organized community environment, ideal for young people.
- Apartments: located at via Solari 22, we offer 3 apartments, each designed for 5 students (male only), ideal for those seeking a more family-like shared living experience.




A student-friendly neighborhood!
Living here means being in the beating heart of Milanese creativity. The Tortona/Solari Area neighborhood is a safe, dynamic, and well-connected area that has everything you need within easy walking distance from your home.
Strategic connections: the university and the city forget about long commutes within minutes. You can easily access the entire city by walking to the M4-California (which is directly connected to Linate Airport) and M2-Sant’Agostino metro stops, as well as bus 68 and tram 14.
- Catholic University and Bocconi University: reachable in less than 15 minutes on foot or with just a few metro stops.
- Politecnico and State University: well connected and reachable in about 20 minutes by public transport.
The neighborhood is designed to be lived on foot. You’ll find supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, and all kinds of shops. The Solari park is a great place to take a break from studying and enjoy a run or swim in the Solari pool, or just relax outside.
A living neighborhood: our are is famous in Milan for Design week, Fashion and leisure. You’ll have plenty of options for spending your free time: from “MUDEC” (Museum Of Cultures) to the bars in the navigli, all within a lively yet always safe and residential ambiance.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the monthly cost for a room for rent? To find out the detailed costs of our housing solutions, we invite you to contact our contact directly. The prices are reasonable for the area and cover several services, including all utilities.
- What kind of contract is proposed? We offer eleven-month transitional reception contracts for university students, in line with current regulations, to ensure maximum transparency and protection for both the student and the property.
- As for food? Everyone can freely prepare their meals independently or in an organized manner at the hours they deem most appropriate.
- Is there Wi-Fi? Yes, each student will have a personal password.
- What are the rooms like? Most are single and only minimally double, fully equipped with a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, bookcase, bedside table and shoe rack. Each room (as well as common areas) is equipped with hot/cold air conditioning
- Is there a mandatory entry/exit or return time? No, each student is equipped with a magnetic badge or traditional key with which they are independent.
- How does the selection process for housing take place? We will conduct a fact-finding interview after initial contact to assess the candidate’s motivations and their connection to the educational and community project of our residence.
